FEES & REIMBURSEMENT
Please contact Dr. Rechberger for current session rates.
Sliding scale available under certain circumstances
Payment is expected at the time of meeting, either by cash or check. Although Dr. Rechberger does not directly accept insurance for sessions, treatment IS covered under most insurance plans. Most insurance companies will pay a percentage of the fee for each session, or for the entire session fee after you have met a pre-determined deductible, as an out-of-network provider. You will need to contact your insurance to discover what their coverage policies are. If you are seeking reimbursement from your insurance or Health Savings Account, I will provide you a monthly receipt for submission to your provider.
Receiving a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges
No Surprises Act 2022
You have the right to receive an annual “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost, including mental health treatment. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance to pay for services (e.g., if you are a “cash pay” client), an estimate of your likely bill for receiving care.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees, as well as regularly scheduled therapy sessions.
Receiving a Good Faith Estimate does not require you to commit to receiving all the services being offered. You may choose to end participating in treatment at any time.
Ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is $400.00 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill with your provider.
Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.
